South Chiefs solidality for HH cheer Ndhlovu

Deputy Minister in the Frederick Chiluba regime Alfred Ndhlovu says the two Chiefs in Southern Province who have cancelled traditional ceremonies in support of and solidarity with incarcerated United Party for National Development(UPND) torch-bearer Hakainde Hichilema have done the right and correct thing which will strengthen democracy and undermine dictatorship.

Ndhlovu said in a statement that Hichilema is their own child who must be treated well and fairly in situations and circumstances.

“Zambia Police arrested him as if he was a common criminal and the treatment he is receiving in prison is disgusting to say the least. How can a suspect who has not been convicted be placed in prison?” Ndhlovu wondered.

Ndhlovu who mounted a vigorous campaign for President Edgar Chanda Lungu in the last elections said the Chiefs must state that their action is sympathetic to their beloved son, Hichilema. “Zambia is supposed to be a democracy but the PF and Edgar(President Lungu) want it to be a dictatorship! All Zambians must fight dictatorship in the manner they fought one party state,” he concluded.
