Dialogue International Country Representative Richard Kakuwa has urged the church in Zambia to remain a unifying factor and champion of reconciliation through dialogue.
Speaking in an interview, Dr. Kakuwa, a development activist, reminisces that the church since time immemorial has played a pivotal role in maintaining and restoring peace in Zambia by engaging opposing parties in constructive dialogue without bias.
Dr.Kakuwa says the church’s credibility in Zambia should not be dainted because of taking political sides when dealing with tumultuous governance issues.
And Dr.Richard Kakuwa has described as unfortunate the current state of affairs where some church leaders have not been consulting stakeholders when issuing statements regarding what is taking place on Zambia’s political landscape.
