Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba people of Northern Province has praised the Patriotic Front administration for embarking on a nationwide development programme.
The paramount Chief says Northern Province has seen a fair share of development projects.
He was speaking when PF secretary General Davies Mwila called on him at his palace.
The Mwinelubemba has revealed that President Lungu is attending to a number of development challenges in various parts of the country. And Mr. Mwila said he is Northern Province with his entourage as emissaries of President Lungu to check how the party was doing in the Province, including challenges they were facing.
Meanwhile, speaking when he addressed the Northern Province Executive Committee in Kasama, Mr. Mwila said the Party must go back to the days of sacrifice because that is what made the Party.
He also re-echoed President Lungu’s directive to civil servants to understand the PF manifesto.
And Mr. Mwila has asked Provincial party leaders to submit a list of Cabinet Ministers not paying courtesy calls on party structures when they visit provinces.
And State House Minister Freedom Sikazwe urged Party members to avoid divisions.
And Yamfwa Mukanga, who is Chairperson for Mines and Mineral Development in the Central Committee, challenged the party structures to make the Party more attractive.
