A ZAMBIAN BUS CRASHES IN SOUTH AFRICA KILLING FOUR

Four people have died Sunday morning in Louise Richard town, near Polokwane in South Africa after a Zambian bound bus was involved in a road traffic accident.

The Jitowe bus registration number ALF 3704 belongs to Lukumo General Dealers.

Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Director and Chief Executive Officer Zindaba Soko confirmed the development in a statement saying among the dead are one female, one infant and two males.

Soko says the names of the dead have however been withheld by South African authorities and will only be availed officially after the next of kin’s to the deceased have been identified.

RATSA however warns that any other information that will come out regarding the accident should be treated as unofficial.

Soko has emphasised that further details will follow after an update from the South African Authorities.
