Dora Siliya’s Lover Steals Limelight At Court

AGRICULTURE minister Dora Siliya’s lover Mark Mubalama on Tuesday stole the limelight at the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court when he appeared for mention in a case where he is alleged to have given false information to immigration officers.
Mubalama, who was in the company of four other men, was in a jovial mood and constantly smiled at photojournalists who positioned themselves to take pictures of him.
The boxing promoter who is married to Namibian President Hage Geingob’s daughter Nangula was constantly on phone before his case took off.
Mubalama will appear in court on February 23 for trial.
Last Friday, Mubalama and the glowing Siliya proudly attended a public event at the HorseShoe restaurant during the launch of Kwese TV, where they intimately chatted, making a clear statement of their newfound happiness.
Their relationship became talk of town during the last festive season when pictures of them on Christmas holiday in the United States were posted on social media.
Siliya was criticised for being away during a time when her ministry was facing armyworm challenges and the chaotic distribution of subsidised farming inputs to small scale farmers.
But Siliya, in response to a query on her absence, said the Ministry of Agriculture was under the government of Zambia and not the Ministry of Dora Siliya.
