A Housewife of Sumbu village caused laughter in the Mansa Local Court when she told the court that her husband of five years complains to her that her private part is too big for his manhood.
Mirriam Chilufya was testifying in a case in which she sued Justine Kasuba for divorce on grounds that he tells her that he feels like he sleeps with a fellow man.
The two got married in 2010 and have two children together.
Chilufya told the court that problems in their marriage started last year when her husband chased her out of their matrimonial home for nine months.
The court heard that Kasuba tells his wife that he wants to marry an attractive woman of his size.
“We were on separation for nine months and my husband has never touched me since August. He tells me that I have a big private part for his manhood,” Chilufya said.
She told the court that her husband also encourages her to use charms on him to arouse his feelings for her.
And Kasuba said last year, he took his wife to marriage counsellors so that they can teach her how to be a good wife as she had no knowledge about marriage.
He said he had not seen any change in her despite undergoing the teachings.
“Each time we have a dispute, my wife drinks doom so that she can kill herself,” Kasuba narrated.
Kasuba, however, begged the court not to dissolve their marriage as he was ready to change his behaviour of despising his wife.
The court turned the divorce case into reconciliation after Chilufya also pleaded with senior local court magistrate Christopher Nkandu not to grant them divorce.
