Police Launch Manhunt For The Driver & His Conductor Who Beat Up A Female Traffic Officer

traffic-officerRegarding the video which has gone viral on social media involving a female traffic police officer, facts are that as traffic police officers were conducting traffic patrols in Kabulonga area of Lusaka, they noticed a minibus driver making a wrong turn at Kabulonga Chindo Traffic Lights and this is how officers followed him. After realising that he was being followed, he decided to park in front of Kabulonga Girls Secondary School gate. One female officer was assigned to get on the bus by other officers and advised the minibus driver to leave the passengers who were on board at a nearest bus stop near the filling station and make arrangements for them to jump on another bus but the driver decided to drive away towards Kalikiliki and left the officer near American Embassy.
This happened on Tuesday 06th December, 2016 around 15 00 hours. Apparently , the same driver later abandoned the bus in Garden Compound on Mumbwa road and ran away together with his conductor. The bus was then surrendered to police by other bus drivers who had heard what had transpired.
We have launched a manhunt for the driver and his conductor, the man a blue shirt because their behaviour is uncalled for and is tantamount to criminality.

I can’t see where it is written that the driver & conductor beat up the police officer it only say – but the driver decided to drive away towards Kalikiliki and left the officer near American Embassy and where was the passengers surely they couldn’t help our officer let alone stop the lot? Zambians what is wrong with us?

in the other social media it was reported that the passengers beat the office so which is which?

This is something seen in everyday’s in Munali constituency where officers just follow any car after they were told to stop unessecery road barriers I forsaw I even called rtsa to advise them as chassing is dangerous for the sake of just wanting a coin.they have even hiked corruption charges from 50 to k100 am told so let them record the vehicle an pernalise it when paying tax or else they will continue verify this with ben mwinga trafic other danger forseen causing incidence 1day a driver will take his life together with clients in quest of running them

The police should be professional not behaving like a drunk political cadre, here in lundazi it’s even worse I’m sure they dream even in their beds to for fundraising for their relish and richness, corruption is too in these police guys. they should be prepared for anything because it’s not good be chasing a vehicle with passengers on board. Be careful!!

Excuse me, is there overwhelming undeniable documented evidence of the driver and conductor beating the officer or its the passengers that beat the officer? If the driver beat the officer, how did he do two activities at the same time, beating the officer and driving? Please educate me!

These officers must be disciplined as well, they are the most corrupt civil servants especially here in zambia.
