Samfya man fined for illegal possession of voters’ cards

THE Samfya Magistrate’s Court has convicted and fined a man K40,000 or in default serve nine months imprisonment with hard labour on 20 counts of being in possession of 20 voters’ cards without authority.
Before magistrate Kanunka Mambwe was Chipayi Kunda, 21, a coxswain by profession, of Mwamfuli village in Samfya district of Luapula Province.
Kunda was found in illegal possession of 20 voters’ cards belonging to other persons, which was a violation of sections 21 and 22 of the Electoral Code of Conduct

    Who hired him to do such things..police should play its law coz this man can’t put his life risk alone,meaning he wasn’t alone in this issue..so BA court tamufwile mwamwikata ekaa iyoooo..that will not fair at all

    Let him speak but if he chooses to remain mute what can the court do. after all he was paid a lot of money. Just send him to jail for many many years so that the would be offenders can learn from him. he should be taught a lesson.
